Kids Meal Kits Registration

We are offering Kid’s Meal Kits for Baker County, Florida families who would benefit from having shelf-stable, easy-to-make meals at home while school is out. These kits are designed specifically for school holiday breaks. Each Kit covers enough for 2 Breakfast and 1 lunch

These are free, however you MUST pre-register in order to receive a kit.
Registration helps us ensure we have enough prepared for every child.

Organization

Saving Seats is a community-focused organization built on one simple belief: life isn’t about building higher fences, it’s about building longer tables.

We connect people in our communities with practical help, meal kits, and opportunities to show up for one another.

And one of the most important ways we do that? Meal kits during school holiday breaks.Because those are the weeks when kids face the biggest food insecurity.

When school cafeterias close, breakfast and lunch programs pause… but hunger does not.

These kits are shelf-stable, easy to prepare, and include everything needed to make a full meal at home even for a teen or child helping take care of younger siblings.

School holidays should feel like a break not a stressful time for a child to figure out where their next meal will come from.

All we’re asking from our community is a little kindness in the form of shelf-stable ingredients. Every donation—big or small—helps a neighbor in need. Click the link below to see the items we’re most often in need of and how you can help keep our community cared for.

Volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers to help hand out meal kits during times when school is not in session. Most volunteer shifts last about two hours and take place in the evening before school breaks or holidays. Locations vary but are always right here in Macclenny.
